With the microphone array reference kit "vicPURE mic array kit F2" you get a miniaturized beamforming microphone array with a spatial noise suppression and speech enhancement. The Reference Kit contains the current algorithms of our vicPURE framework ,

The F2 type is designed as a replacement for a gooseneck microphone and is optimized for audio acquisition directly perpendicular to the board plane. Noise outside the pickup area is largely suppressed, comparable to cardioid microphones.

The kit contains a circuit board with four high-quality MEMS microphones and an integrated signal processing controller. It allows for flush mounting of the microphone array behind a device's front panel. However, by intelligently combining the individual microphone signals, a directivity perpendicular to the front panel can be achieved. This behavior allows for optimal pickup of a speaker directly in front of the microphone, thus enabling optimal pickup from the source position and suppression of background noise from the side.
The cleaned speech signal is output analogically or via the USB interface.
